What documents will I receive after I register a company?


Does anybody know what documents I will receive after I register my company? I’ve got everything I need to send in my application, but I am simply wondering what I should expect to receive in return.

Hi Charles,

When your company has been successfully registered at Companies House, you will receive the following incorporation documents:

  1. Certificate of Incorporation
  2. Memorandum of Association
  3. Articles of Association
  4. Share Certificates (if you register a limited by shares company)

You will receive these documents by email if you set up your company online through Companies House or a company formation agent. They will be sent to you as PDFs shortly after your application has been approved.

If you choose to incorporate your company by post using the paper application (Form IN01) from Companies House, your documents will be sent to you in the post within a few days of your company formation being approved.
