How long does it take to form a company limited by shares?

0

Morning - I’m trying to form a limited company, and I’m on a pretty tight schedule. I’ve already got clients lined up for time-sensitive projects, and so I need to get started as soon as possible. But first, I’ve been told it’s worth incorporating my business as a limited by shares company for financial protection. But does anyone know how long it will take? Like I say, I’m on a pretty tight schedule.

It only takes a few hours to register a ready-to-trade company limited by shares if you go through an online company formation agent. It will only take you about 5 minutes to fill out an online application and send it electronically to Companies House. Your registration should be approved within 3 hours, depending on the time of day and the number of applications being processed.

Worst case scenario, your company registration will be approved tomorrow morning, so nothing to worry about, but you can always ask your company formation agent for a guaranteed same-day incorporation service.
