Can I form a non-trading company if I am a non-resident in the UK?

2

Hello to you all, I have a query. I am not a resident of the UK, but I know that I can still set up a limited company in the UK even if I do not live there. What I do not know is whether I can set up a non-trading company in the UK even though I do not live there. Can anyone help me out with this one?

Yes, you can set up a limited company in the UK even if you live in another country, and you can make the company active (trading) or dormant (not-trading). You can change the trading status of your company at any time if you decide to start trading. The company formation process and statutory reporting requirements are exactly the same for non-residents are they are for UK residents.
