Do I need to register my company for PAYE if no one in the company is drawing a salary?

Good afternoon

I want to establish a limited company, but had a question relating to employment.

For at least the first year of trading, I’ll still be employed by another company. Consequently, I won’t be drawing a salary from my new limited company, but I would like it to trade as normal.

If I am a company’s only employee and I am not drawing a salary, can my company trade as normal without me having to register for PAYE?

Cheers

Hi Ewan

Your new limited company will be able to trade freely without registering for PAYE, but only as long as your current employer is paying your wages, and not your limited company.

Hope that helps.
