I think the whole idea of having a designated member is just stupid. Is there any way I can just incorporate my LLP without one? Cheers
Unfortunately this is not an option. LLPs must have at least two designated members at all times. If you do not nominate two of the members, Companies House will register all members as designated.
Designated members are essential because they take responsibility for an LLP’s statutory filing and reporting requirements. You can find out more here.
