Can a non-UK resident obtain a certificate of good standing?

Good day

I am a non-UK resident who is a sole shareholder and director at a limited UK company. Is it possible for me to obtain a certificate of good standing, despite my non-resident status?

Many thanks

Yes, a non-UK resident of a UK-registered company can apply for a certificate of good standing. Your company is the legal ‘person’ applying for the certificate, so your residential status will not affect anything.

You can find our more and apply for a certificate online here.
