Do I need a print copy of my certificate of good standing?

I’m planning to obtain a certificate of good standing for my limited company. What I’m wondering is, can I use a digital copy of this document, or do I need to show people a print copy? Cheers

You can use a digital copy of your certificate of good standing as long as it is a scanned copy of the original paper certificate - any PDF copy issued by Companies House will not have the registrar's signature so it will not be classed as a certified copy.

In some cases a digital certificate may be more convenient for you and the recipient, but it really depends on the preference of who you are dealing with. If someone asks to see a printed copy of the certificate of good standing, you will have to send them a printed copy.
