Where should I display details of my LLP?

Once my LLP has been incorporated via Companies House, are there any particular places that I’ve got to display the name of my LLP? For example, on my company premises, or any paperwork or wherever.

You must display the registered name of your limited liability partnership on a sign at your registered office and any other place where it carries out business activities, with the exception of private residences. The sign must be visible and easy to read.

Your LLPs business stationery, correspondence and documentation, including websites and emails, should state the following information:

  • Full LLP name
  • Companies House registration number
  • Country of registration
  • Registered office address
  • The fact that it is a limited liability partnership
