What if I do not want to make my service address public?

Okay, so I get that Companies House want a director’s service address when I register a company - fine. But I really don’t want my residential address to be posted all over planet earth. What can I do to make sure my service address stays private?

You cannot keep your service address private - it must be placed on public record. However, you can keep your home address private by not using it as your service address or registered office.

If you do not have access to a non-residential address that you can use as a service address, you can buy a professional service address from company formation agent. This alternate address will be placed on public record. Your statutory mail will be posted to your service address and then forwarded to your home or office.
