How do I choose a registered office address?

0

Okay, so I’m trying to form a limited company in England, and I’m stuck on the registered office address section. How do I pick a registered office? Our company doesn’t have an actual premises lined up yet, so I’m not sure what I should do. Could someone please advise? Thank you so much in advance.

A registered office is simply the official address of a company. This address will be displayed on public record. It is also where your company’s statutory mail will be delivered.

You must choose a registered office address in your jurisdiction of incorporation. In your case, this is ‘England and Wales’. You can use your home address, your trading address, or any other address you like.

If you want to protect your privacy, you would be best to use a non-residential address like a professional registered office service. When you eventually get your business premises sorted out, you can easily move your registered office to the new address.
