Can an English business use a registered office address in Northern Ireland?

Evening - I am keen to know whether an English limited by shares company would be allowed to use a registered office address in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Anybody got a clue?

No, I’m afraid not. Your registered office has to be situated in the same jurisdiction in which you incorporate the company, so you will have to choose an address in England or Wales.

If you would prefer to have your registered office in Belfast, you can incorporate your company in Northern Ireland. You will still be able to trade wherever you like, but your company will be registered as Northern Irish.
