Can my company use a nominee director?

I need advice. I would like to set up a limited UK company. The primary business will be salon-based, and it will be in London. Now, I would not like my name to be on the public register, despite the fact I am sole owner and proprietor. So, under these circumstances, would I be permitted to install a nominee director for this company? Cheers

You must appoint at least one natural person as the director or your company, so you will not be permitted to appoint a corporate nominee as the sole director. You can, however, appoint nominee shareholder to take your place on the public register.

To protect your privacy as much as possible, you should provide a non-residential registered office address and director’s service address for the public register.
