Can my company have a nominee secretary?

Morning, I am just wondering whether my company would be allowed to have a nominee secretary. It is an IT startup based in Brighton, and there are two directors and two shareholders. We have got a secretary, but would like to register using a nominee. Is that allowed?

Yes, you can appoint a nominee secretary to provide confidentiality to the real company secretary. The appointment of the nominee will be in name only, so the real secretary will be responsible for carrying out the executive duties of the role.
