Can a limited company be a nominee officer?

I am the director of a limited company in Edinburgh, and a former colleague has asked me to place our company on the register as a nominee. That said, I don’t even know if it’s allowed for a company to be a nominee for another company. Please advise.

Yes, your limited company can be a nominee officer of another company. Your company details will be registered at Companies House and named on public record as being as officer of the other company.
