Can a company have nominee guarantors?

Good morning to you all!

I am contemplating turning a small community venture into a proper limited by guarantee company. I am happy to stand as guarantor, but I wouldn’t like that to be public knowledge. So, would I be okay to use a nominee guarantor when registering with Companies House?

Yes, you can have nominee members in a company limited by guarantee if you wish to protect their identity or you require more members. The nominees will not be responsible for running the business - their role is in name only.
