Does my SAIL address need to be a physical address?

I’m new to this idea of SAIL addresses, but I like the idea of having one for my company. I’m trying to get a feel for the parameters I’ve got to abide by, though. First off: does a SAIL address need to be a physical address that somebody can actually visit?

Yes, the address you use as a Single Alternative Inspection Location (SAIL) must be a physical address because it has to be somewhere that the public can physically enter to inspect your company records. For this reason, you cannot use a PO Box Number unless you provide the full postal address of the building in which the PO Box is situated.
