Who can access my SAIL address?

Question about SAIL addresses. Any member of the public should have the right to examine your company documents at a registered office, right? Well, does the same rule apply to a SAIL address?

Your SAIL address is a matter of public record so it can be accessed on the official register of companies by all members of the public. For this reason, you may wish to use a non-residential address as your SAIL but it is entirely up to you.

If you would like to use a SAIL address, you must tell Companies House immediately. You can do this by filing form AD02 online or by post, or you can notify them online through your company formation agent. You will also have to complete form AD03 to tell Companies House which statutory records you are keeping at your SAIL.
