Can I use my registered office address as a trading address?

My partner and I are attempting to set up a limited company online using a formation agency. I’ve been prompted for a trading address, but I’ve not actually got a special address lined up. Would I be allowed to sign up my trading address by using my registered office address?

Thanks for that

You can certainly use your registered office as your trading address if that’s where you want your clients and other important business contact to get in touch with you. You can also use your home address is you work from there and it is more convenient.

If you are using a registered office service from a company formation agent or other address provider, you will have to purchase a separate business address service for this purpose - you cannot use your registered office service to receive any mail other than statutory correspondence from Companies House and HMRC

I hope this helps. If you have any other queries, please get back in touch.
