Is my trading address made public?

So, I know that a lot of the addresses you provide Companies House end up on a public register that everybody and their mum is allowed to see. What I am wondering is whether the same rule applies to a company’s trading address. Any clue?

No, trading addresses are not a matter of public record. It is only your registered office, SAIL address and service address that will be placed on the register of companies. You will need to provide HMRC with a trading address when you sign up for taxes but they will not disclose it to anyone else.

However, you should display your trading address on your website and business correspondence if this is where you would like your business contacts to get in touch with you, so you may prefer to use an address that is not your private residence.
