How do I activate email reminders from Companies House?

Good morning

I have got a really quick question. I’ve never had a fantastic memory, and so I’m worried about filing for my limited company. Apparently you can activate e-reminders from Companies House, but I can’t quite figure out how. Could you please assist?

eReminders is a really great service provided by Companies House and it’s definitely worth having if you are prone to forgetfulness! It’s free to use - you simply have to register for WebFiling and activate the eReminder service when your account has been set up.

To register for WebFiling, you must:

  1. Provide an email address and password
  2. Request an Authentication Code
  3. When you receive the Authentication Code at your registered office, create your account by entering the code and your password.

When you are registered for WebFiling, select ‘Register for eReminders’ on the top menu bar and you will be able to set up email reminders for your annual accounts and annual returns.
