Why would I want an account that comes with a telephone banking service?

I’m considering two different business bank accounts. Both are bragging about their telephone banking services, but I don’t really understand why. When you can go online, what’s the point of bothering with telephones? I am just curious to see if there’s something I’m not getting.

Not everyone likes online banking. Many people prefer to deal with a banking agent on the telephone. Sometimes you may not have access to the internet, and in certain situations you may need or want to speak to an advisor to discuss a query or problem, so telephone banking is a great alternative for these reasons.

It’s good to have more than one way to handle your banking affairs. If you’ve got no interest in telephone banking then there is no need for you to use it, but the option will be there if you change your mind or you want to ask the bank a question.
