Can a company limited by shares open a business bank account?

Hi - are limited by shares companies allowed to open business bank accounts? Just trying to see whether I am looking at the right account type. Sincerely, Joyce

Yes, limited companies can open business bank accounts. In fact, it is advisable to have a dedicated bank account for your limited company as soon as it becomes active. The account will be in your company name, not yours, but you can register yourself and other people as account signatories. This will enable you to operate the account on behalf of the company.
