What type of company structure is best for a private medical practice?

Several colleagues and I would like to start a private medical practice in Glasgow, specialising in pediatrics. Before we can secure funding, we need to incorporate as a company. What structure is most suitable for this sort of venture?

A limited liability partnership (LLP) is the best structure for setting up a private medical practice with a number of other people. The structure of an LLP is the same as a traditional partnership but it provides financial protection to each partner. If the business runs into financial difficulty or is sued, your personal assets will be protected by limited liability.

Please take a look at this guide for more information about the LLP structure.
